They speak often of
the new "perimeter of the bubble."
Arcane maths and human structures are
created to prop up the imagination and
some engine long forgotten
- called hope -
lives beneath the interest rates and term sheets...
(We still dream of the stars and sea.)
There is an ironic and illogical splitting
of value - not unlike
the soft effervescent bubbles
emerging in frothy frenzy in
a champagne flute
Racing at once to spill their pressure into
the receptive and dry
atmosphere.
(Even so - still or sparkling - the wine must be good.)
They speak of the big pops and
IPO - with POS's in CRM's - and it is at times
just a list of - too many acronyms.
Intentionally aloof from
the human experience.
We can hunger here
in the desert for rain and seek respite with
ozone as perfume for the hungry and thirsty trees.
They say this is the new era of gold and
to crest at the frothy waves of the bubbles
makes it feel even further
from the stars and the sea...
Quietly - the clouds collect and
sigh -
awaiting the rainy season.
